Welcome to
Bath Creek Realty!
BCR
is owned and managed by Mary Ellen Adams, a fully-licensed REALTOR® who fell in love with Coastal North Carolina more than 10 years ago. After
“discovering” the region, Mary Ellen and her husband bought a piece of land in
Bath, and later built a house and relocated here from Connecticut. They quickly
developed a passion for the spectacular setting and rich history of the area,
and grew strong ties to this close-knit community.
Mary Ellen’s decision to start a second career as a real estate professional
came from her desire to share her passion for her new home. She builds on her
20-year experience in market research and business intelligence to introduce
others to the possibilities of living in this beautiful and welcoming region.
Like those who grew up here, Mary Ellen loves the mild climate and spectacular
sunsets on the water, the opportunities for outdoor activities (boating,
fishing, hunting, golf, tennis, biking, and walking – particularly dog walking,
a local favorite), and the relaxed and friendly lifestyle of the area.
At
Bath Creek Realty, we know that this area is a wonderful place to live and work.
We also believe that its most valuable asset is the people who choose to make it
their home. This is why we take pride in our commitment to our clients, as well
as our goal - bringing buyers and sellers together. We are dedicated to
understanding your needs, and recognize that buying or selling a home is both an
emotional experience and a financial decision.
It
is our pledge to provide each BCR client with the best in
personal attention and sound market information, so they can make informed real
estate decisions that best suit their lifestyle and budget.

We have recently moved to the old Swindell's Store on South Main Street
in Bath. Swindell's Store, built in
1905, closed forever at the end of a business day in 1982, leaving merchandise
on the shelves. It is now being renovated and has been featured in an exhibit,
Swindell’s Store: More Than Groceries -- The Flavor of the Rural General Store,
which can be viewed at the
Historic Bath Visitor's Center on Carteret
Street (NC92).
Stop by and see us at our office in Bath. We’d love to show you around!
